A hands-on event all about lav placement with Simon Bysshe of URSA straps, and his partner Laura Smith who works in costume.

Simon has been working as a sound mixer and boom operator for many years, and started working in 2011 with Laura on what in 2015 would become the Ursa strap.

Practical info:
It will be a hands on workshop, so please bring ties, shirts and some tricky clothing since we will be micing each other. There are limited seats, so everyone needs to register if you are attending. This is so we know how many we will be and how to split up so it will be an efficient day. It will last for 3 hours, including short breaks, AND it's free of charge. Bring your favorite headphones and tools you normally use, and join this great opportunity to learn from each other and maybe some new tricks? If we are lucky some new tools will be available for testing.
